PTNE is a registered partner of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), registered to deliver Low Value Provision (LVP) funded training. Since 2020 we've supported over 100 Jobcentre customers.
Depending on your circumstances and the funding available, you may be able to take your personal training qualifications without paying the usual course fees yourself.

Our DWP learners have qualified from Porthcawl, Grimsby and Yeovil. Because most of the course is online, with a tutor on the end of the phone, it works wherever you live.
Francesca was referred to us by the work coach at her local Jobcentre. She enrolled on the Level 3 Diploma Practitioner in Personal Training in May 2026 and, with 1-to-1 support from her online tutor, finished her exams, written work and practical assessments in just eight weeks, before starting her career as a personal trainer.

Tristan enrolled on Level 3 personal training through the Jobcentre in June 2024. Since qualifying, he has been working at The Gym Group in Grimsby, coaching one-to-one clients, running classes and working with people from all walks of life.
After checking her eligibility at her local Jobcentre in Grimsby, Vita enrolled on the Level 2 Certificate in Planning and Delivering Gym Based Exercise and completed all of her assessments within five weeks, to kick-start a business helping others reach their fitness goals. For gyms and fitness creators
Fit4Work runs on a simple model. The Jobcentre refers people who want to work in fitness, we train them to an Ofqual-regulated standard, and a gym meets them at the end with a guaranteed job interview.
We're building partnerships with reputable gym operators, and fitness creators who carry real weight in the industry, to take that model to more towns.
Offer guaranteed job interviews to people who finish Fit4Work, and meet qualified, motivated staff without paying a recruiter.
Give learners real experience in your gym while they train, so they arrive at interview already knowing how a floor runs.
